Derek Hough's Greek Goddess Maria Menounos got the boot on Dancing With the Stars.

The television personality was axed from the show even though she and Hough got a perfect score for their tango on Monday. The judges also raved about their jive.

Menounos was grateful for the experience.

Thank you to @extratv for allowing me to do #dwts and all the staff for hangin in with me and my crazy schedule! she tweeted.

As for Hough, he is proud of Menounos, who he has referred to as his Greek Goddess (Menounos' heritage is Greek) and tweeted as much: Congratulations to all the finalists! (sic) Gonna be a good one. (sic) So proud of Maria, she is truly amazing in every way.

Now it's up to NFL player Donald Driver, Welsh singer Katherine Jenkins and Cuban actor William Levy to compete in the finals for the Mirror Ball trophy. They are paired with professional dancers Peta Murgatroyd, Mark Ballas and Cheryl Burke, respectively.

Jenkins, who had a back spasm during her salsa performance Monday night that messed up the end of the routine, tweeted a shout-out to Menounos: How blessed I've been to share these weeks with @mariamenounos - will be so missed in training but the Girl-Mance will continue! Love ya!

Burke, who has led two partners to DWTS victory, is excited for another shot in the finals. Her previous winners were 98 Degrees singer Drew Lachey and retired football player Emmitt Smith. Actors Gilles Marini and Cristián de la Fuente also made it to the finals under her tutelage.

So thrilled to be in the Finals! she tweeted. Proud of William and thank u so much for ur support and love. We wouldn't be here if it weren't for u guys!
