“Dancing With the Stars” Season 24 is officially underway. The teams performed premiere routines on Monday and are now bracing for the first elimination.

In Week 2 of “DWTS” one of the 12 competing couples will be sent home. The decision has to do with both judges scores and the number of votes each team receives from viewers. While we won’t know who got the lowest viewer score, one team did score well below their “DWTS” competitors with the judging panel.

Team Mango Tango, which consists of “Night at the Roxbury” star Chris Kattan and Witney Carson, flopped their first dance. The pair attempted to perform to “What is Love” by Haddaway, but their routine lacked style. Judges loved Chris’ personality shining through, but not enough — he and Witney scored 17 out of 40 points.

While they’re in grave danger of leaving “DWTS” in Week 2, they’re not the only ones. The next lowest score on the cast went to Kym Herjavec and Mr. T. The pair scored 20 out of 40 for a stiff routine to the “A-Team” theme song.

We can say with confidence that a few teams on the “DWTS” Season 24 cast are likely safe. Team Golden Giggles and Team Shad Squad, which consist of Simone Biles and Sasha Farber and Rashad Jennings and Emma Slater, respectively, scored highest in Week 1. Judges praised them as pairs to beat, so they’re not going anywhere.

Sasha and Simone, who beat Rashad and Emma by one point in the “DWTS” premiere, celebrated their win on Instagram. Sasha shared a photo of he and Simone after getting their 32 out of 40 score, praising his partner. He called the Olympic gymnast “a beautifully string [SIC] disciplined young woman with a killer giggle.”

Many “DWTS” fans project Sasha and Simone will be the winners of Season 24, though only time will tell. Tune to the dancing competition Mondays at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
