“Dancing With the Stars” kicked off Week 2 of the hit ABC series with glitter, glam and a double elimination. And unfortunately for Chaka Khan and her pro partner Keo Motsepe, the Fox-trotting pair was the first duo to be sent home from Season 21 of reality competition after a low-scoring performance.

"I feel like I've done [Keo] such a disservice,” Khan said following the couple’s elimination. “He is by far one of the best dancers that I've ever seen."

But Motsepe, being the optimist he is, told his distraught partner “everything happens for a reason.”

Prior to the “Hometown Glory” episode, Motsepe spoke with International Business Times about the possibility of getting eliminated. Although he was hopeful that he and Khan would survive the dreaded double elimination, he knew that their fate on the series was beyond his control.

“It’s out of our hands. There’s nothing we can do. We don’t know who votes. We find out five minutes before the show [ends]. ‘Oh, we’re going home?’ God has a plan for each and every couple on the show,” he told IBT.

Despite the fact that Khan and Motsepe will no longer be competing for the coveted Mirror Ball trophy, fans will still get to hear Motsepe’s story during Part 2 of “Hometown Glory” installment, which will air on Tuesday night.

“They’ve got a crew going to South Africa to interview my parents, where I’m from, how I grew up, my sister and dance teachers,” the artist revealed. “People will now realize who Keo is and where he comes from.”

Due to early eliminations (Motsepe was eliminated first during Season 19 and third during Season 20), audiences weren’t given the chance to know Motsepe on a personal level, which is why viewers and “DWTS” producers alike were surprised to learn that the two-stepping hunk is of royal decent.

During the Season 21 premiere of the ABC series, Motsepe revealed he’s actually a prince!

“One of the producers during the show [asked] me, ‘Keo, where are you from?’ She was so fascinated when I told her [I was a prince]. It got to producers and they were like ‘What? Why didn’t we know about this from your first season?’”

Motsepe divulged to IBT that he kept his regal status quiet because he didn’t want "different treatment."

“I said once on the show I was working on before and I got a different treatment after [revealing] that from the dancers. And I was like, ‘Guys, I’m just human. Nothing has changed. We’re good.’ I don’t want people to be looking at me in a different way. I’m still Keo.”

Fans will get a glimpse into the enigmatic life of Keo Motsepe during Tuesday night of “Dancing With the Stars,” which will air at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
