"Dancing With the Stars" pro Witney Carson kicked off the new year by marrying childhood sweetheart Carson McAllister. The couple, who started dating four years ago, wed in a small religious ceremony in Salt Lake City, Utah.

"I'm just so excited to start our lives together," the 22-year-old told People magazine following her wedding.

People reported a number of Carson's "Dancing with the Stars" friends were in attendance including Kym Johnson and Robert Herjavec, her Season 21 partner Carlos PenaVega and his wife Alexa PenaVega, her Season 20 partner Chris Soules and her Season 19 partner Alfonso Ribeiro.

Pro dancers Emma Slater, Lindsay Arnold, Jenna Johnson and Brittany Cherry were bridesmaids.

People reported Carson walked down the aisle in a gorgeous Rivini gown, and the entire ceremony was planned by celebrity wedding planner Michael Russo. Following the couple's nuptials, they held a dinner and reception for more than 100 people at Noah's Event Venue in South Jordan, Utah. As wedding favors, Carson and McAllister gave female guests monogrammed clutches while the men were given monogrammed wallets.

Before tying the knot, Carson shared a beautiful black-and-white photo of her and McAllister with the caption: “Can’t believe today is the day!! Finally get to be with my love forever and all eternity. Can’t wait to share with all of you the details … Oh and happy New Years! #McAllisterWedding2016.”

As previously reported, the professional dancer announced her engagement in October. “He did so well!” Carson told Us Weekly at the time about the beach proposal.

She also gushed about her 2-carat diamond ring. “My mom really knows what I like – I’ve been sending her pictures. His mom and my mom kind of helped him and guided him through it. I love it so much!”
