New year, new “Dancing With The Stars.” That seemed to be ABC’s motto while planning for season 18 of the beloved dancing competition. According to reports, there will be a lot of changes in upcoming series that will be making its debut on Monday, March 17. From fresh new dancers to innovative music, rumor has it that season 18 of “DWTS” is the reality show to watch of 2014.

First and foremost, there has been much speculation over what celebs will be lacing up their dancing shoes—starting with Bruce Jenner. Could the Olympic athlete be following in the footsteps of Rob and Kim Kardashian? US Weekly insisted that Jenner is “dying” to compete in “DWTS.” And due to his athletic background, we could definitely picture the “Keeping up with the Kardashian” star wiping the dance floor with his hypothetical competition.

But that’s not all the “DWTS” news we have! Entertainment Weekly reported that in addition to a new cast will be a new band to serenade the dancers with their exciting music. "Our talented Music Director, Harold Wheeler, will not be joining us for season 18 of Dancing with the Stars,” an official statement from ABC and BCC Worldwide read. “Since season one, Harold and his band have performed brilliant music in our ballroom for our dancers and the American viewers at home. We are grateful to him and his band for their amazing work and years of collaboration. We wish him the best of luck."

Although ABC neglected to announce the new musicians who will be making our toes tap for the next several Mondays, they did reveal that “live music will still very much be a part of the show.”

Looks like we’ll just have to sit on the edge of our seats for a little longer until “DWTS” comes clean about the changes within season 18. Who would you love to see participate in the upcoming series of the ABC competition? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below!
