Daniel Radcliffe will be succeeded by "Glee" star Darren Criss, when the "Harry Potter" actor leaves Broadway show "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" in January, show producers confirmed Monday.

Radcliffe, 22, has been on the Tony-Award winning musical since March, playing window washer turned office worker J. Pierrepont Finch.

Radcliffe and his "Harry Potter" family bid adieu to the franchise when the last installment of the film series was released on July 15. "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" recently became the ninth film in history to reach the $1 billion mark worldwide, Box Office Mojo reported on Monday.

The role in "How to Succeed" will mark Criss' Broadway debut when he sings and dances for three weeks, starting Jan. 3.
