RTTNews - Consumer confidence in Denmark unexpectedly dropped in June, official data showed Monday.

Data released by the Statistics Denmark showed that the consumer confidence indicator dropped to minus 5.5 in June from minus 4.7 in May. That was in contrast to the expected reading of minus 2.5.

The measure for households' view on current economic situation compared to the previous year, dropped to minus 1 from 0.9 in May. The gauge for households' future economic conditions eased to 13.3 from 16.8.
