When the ladies of Danity Kane officially announced their reunion at the MTV Video Music Awards show last month, many were disappointed that DK’s brief appearance didn’t include at least a few fluid harmonies from the once-defunct girl group. But for those eager to see Aubrey O’Day, Aundrea Fimbres, Dawn Richard and Shannon Bex hit the stage again, the wait will soon be over.

The girls are scheduled to perform Saturday afternoon during this year’s iHeartRadio Music Festival Village in Las Vegas, as they noted on Twitter:

And they’ve taken to their social-media accounts to share a few details about their first live performance as a group in five years. These include a photograph of what appears to be vocal practice and a picture teasing Richard’s new, longer hairdo -- which is now the optimum length for a flawless hair flip.

Although the group’s set for the show Saturday hasn’t been revealed, it has been heavily hinted it will be performing the new single “Rage.” During an interview with MTV on the VMAs red carpet recapped by Idolator.com, Richard described DK’s new music as a major departure from the group’s previous sound. “It’s a better sound for us. It’s a live sound,” Richard said. “Danity Kane with live guitar, live drums [and] more of a rock vibe. People will be pleasantly surprised at how we’re coming.”

But the good news doesn’t appear to stop with the girls’ return to the stage. According to the DK Twitter account, Saturday’s appearance will include an additional “little something to share.” It may be confirmation of a rumored reality-television show -- or, even better, the revelation of an album release date. But no matter what the news turns out to be, the ladies of Danity Kane appear to be prepping one immaculately fierce show for Saturday!
