Dave Matthews Band 2012 Summer Tour: Dates, Full Schedule

The Dave Matthews Band is hitting the road again this year after taking a hiatus from touring in 2011.

The Dave Matthews Band 2012 Summer Tour begins on May 18 at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Woodlands, Texas, and ends on Sept. 9 at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, Calif.. The full schedule is below.

Tickets go on sale for the general public on Friday, March 9. Citi, the official credit card of the Dave Matthews Band 2012 Summer Tour, is offering a presale to Citi card members beginning Monday, March 5, at 10:00 a.m. ET at www.citiprivatepass.com. Members of the DMB Warehouse Fan Association can purchase tickets from this Thursday, at 10:00 a.m. ET to Monday, Feb. 27 at 10 a.m. ET at www.warehouse.davematthewsband.com.

The tour comes ahead of another DMB studio album, to be released later this year. According to the band's website, they are working with Steve Lillywhite, who produced DMB first three studio albums: Under the Table And Dreaming, Crash and Before These Crowded Streets.

DMB is one of the most successful touring bands in history, according to Billboard, and has sold more tickets than any act in the world from 2000 to 2009. The band raked in $61.2 million and sold more than 1 million tickets during its last tour in 2010.
