An autistic and schizophrenic Southern California teen who went missing last year has disappeared again Tuesday and hasn’t been seen since.

David Allen Soto, 18, of Wildomar, left the campus of Elsinore High School Tuesday morning.

"We are continuing all search efforts today," Wildomar Police Department Lt. Zach Hall told Lake Elsinore-Wildomar Patch on Thursday.

"We are still looking for him," added Riverside County Sheriff’s Deputy Albert Martinez on Wednesday.

Soto, who takes prescription medications and has the mental capacity of a 15-year-old boy, was last seen wearing a Lakers hoodie, blue jeans and black tennis shoes, according to NBC Los Angeles.

Soto also went missing last year for one day before he was found safe Oct. 11, 2012. He was discovered cold, wet and hungry on a Wildomar street.

"David was cold and thirsty, and I was told the lady [who found him] gave him water and called police," his mother, Anna Espinoza, told Lake Elsinore-Wildomar Patch at the time. “He's on I.V. fluid, but the doctor said he is going to be OK. I'm just so grateful to everyone who helped find him. I can't thank them enough.”

Authorities are searching around Elsinore High School in hopes of finding the missing autistic and schizophrenic teen.

Soto was described as a 6-foot-tall Hispanic weighing 130 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information on his whereabouts was asked to call Lt. Zach Hall of the Wildomar Police Department at 951-445-7951.
