The United States takes on France in a Davis Cup quarterfinal on Friday. A Davis Cup live stream of the action is available for free at USTA.com. The Tennis Channel will also be broadcasting the matches live all day.

Both teams have recently lost team members to injuries which should add to the excitement on Friday. The U.S. lost its No. 1 tennis player Mardy Fish to extreme fatigue last week, while France announced on Thursday that Gilles Simon to replace the injured Gael Monfils.

Friday's action begins with 19-year-old Ryan Harrison, Fish's replacement, taking on France's No. 1 player Jo-Wilfried Tsonga on a clay court. Tsonga is the prohibitive favorite in the opening match of the quarterfinals, but Harrison could be tougher than expected. This will be Harrison's first noteworthy action in the Davis Cup and the youngster is trying to not let the pressure get to him.

We're very prepared. We have a great team, a great coach and captain, said Harrison. I think we're as prepared as can be.

The other singles matchup features Monfils versus John Isner. Isner defeated Simon earlier this year, but admits that Davis Cup is a much different environment than the previous time the two met.

I don't think it's going to make that much of a difference, Isner told reporters about his previous win over Simon. It's Davis Cup. It's a whole different animal than a regular tournament. [Simon's] going to take to the court very confident.
