-President Barack Obama will attend his last fundraiser of the 2012 campaign season on Thursday, the Hill reports. He and his advisers will then reportedly go into full-gear debate prep to make up for the president’s lackluster performance in Denver last week.

-Vice President Joe Biden is in his hometown of Wilmington, Del., where he is reportedly prepping for his Thursday debate against Republican vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan.

-The Washington Post reports Biden’s wife, Jill Biden, will play a greater role campaigning for the Obama-Biden ticket in the final weeks before Election Day.

-In another important race for that could determine whether or not Democrats will retain control of the Senate, Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill has every advantage in fundraising and outside spending, but polls still show she has no significant lead over her controversial Republican challenger, Todd Akin.
