Vice President Joe Biden is traveling to Florida for a two-day trip where he is expected to launch a new attack against the Republican ticket over entitlements -- this time, Social Security benefits. Reuters

Friday is all about fundraising for President Barack Obama, who will spend the afternoon attending three campaign events in Washington, D.C.

  • The president will speak at a campaign event at the Capital Hilton on Friday afternoon, before attending another event at a private residence in the evening. After that, Obama will return to the Capital Hilton to deliver remarks, the White House said.
  • Vice President Joe Biden is traveling to Florida for a two-day trip where he is expected to launch a new attack against the Republican ticket over entitlements -- this time, Social Security benefits, according to the Los Angeles Times. Biden will begin the trip with stops at Century Village, a senior living community, in Boca Raton, before he visits Tamarac and Fort Myers.
  • First Lady Michelle Obama is in Iowa on Friday, where she will be urging people to take advantage of early voting, in a rally at Cedar Falls’ University of Northern Iowa.
  • And George Soros, the liberal billionaire, donated $1 million to the super PAC backing President Obama, Priorities USA, the Hill reports.
