-Mitt Romney will expand his critique of President Obama's foreign policy on Monday with an 11:20 speech at the Virginia Military Institute in Lexington. In addition to his standard stump lines faulting Obama for cutting military spending and taking it easy on Iran, Romney will assail the administration's handling of Libya.

-After that, Romney will be in Newport News, Va., for a 5:20 rally. He has been making a strong push for the Old Dominion state, spending a significant amount of time there over the last few weeks.

-Paul Ryan will be focusing on a couple other swing states, beginning with an 11:30 appearance in Swanton, Ohio, and wrapping up with a rally at Rochester, Mich., Oakland University at 7:30.

-Just a reminder: The vice presidential debate is happening on Thursday night. While the running mate contest draws fewer viewers than the presidential version, it will still offer President Obama's team a chance to rebound from what is generally seen as a poor performance against Romney last week.
