‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Abigail Learns The Shocking Truth About Jennifer And Eric

She knows her mother recently pursued a romance with Eric and things didn’t go well, but Abigail will be shocked when she learns there's more to the story than she previously knew on the Wednesday, April 26 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Abigail (Marci Miller) knows her mother, Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) and Eric (Greg Vaughan) recently attempted to go on a date, but things didn’t go well on the NBC soap because Eric never showed. He has since insisted to Jennifer that he needs to stay focused on his new work, because he is still trying to make amends for accidentally killing Daniel. However, as she and Jennifer rehash things, Abigail will be surprised to learn that this isn’t the only time her mother and Eric had attempted some romance.

Last year, while Abigail was in the mental hospital and then on the run and pretending to be dead, Jennifer was battling her addiction to pain pills from the same car accident that killed Daniel, while Eric was still drinking heavily because he knew he was headed to jail for his friend’s death. The two, both under the influence of their various demons, hooked up the night before Eric surrendered to begin his sentence. After he left, Jennifer sobered up and cleaned up her act, as did Eric after his release, but Jennifer hasn’t quite gotten over the night they shared together, and seems eager to try it again. Abigail will be shocked to learn what happened while she was gone, and may encourage her mother to fight for the man she clearly wants to be with.

However, it may already be too late for Jennifer to do that. Eric has been finding himself drawn to Nicole’s (Arianne Zucker) case ever since she and Brady (Eric Martsolf) fled town with a kidnapped Holly and went on the run. He has been sensing that there is some danger headed their way, and he’s right. His continued connection to her could be the very thing that will eventually stand in Jennifer’s way, even though Nicole previously had zero interest in ever giving him another shot, since she was supposed to be marrying Daniel before he died.
