They just married and have been in happy newly-wedded bliss. However, an unexpected visitor will try to stir up trouble for Chad and Abigail on the Thursday, Oct. 19 episode of "Days of Our Lives."

Chad (Billy Flynn) and Abigail (Marci Miller) have finally married for good on the NBC soap, after several things which kept them apart over the years. However, the past has come walking back into their lives due to the mystery surrounding whether or not Will (Chandler Massey) is really alive. And while the people who kept them apart before aren't a problem for them anymore, Will's mother, Sami (Alison Sweeney) will have her eyes on revenge and will get it when she heads to the DiMera mansion, where they live.

Sami will plant a huge kiss on Chad when she sees him, and it will be a moment that Abigail will walk in on and witness. However, she likely won't think anything of it, and it won't hurt her young marriage, as it won't take her long to figure out that Sami kissing Chad is her idea of revenge because of Abigail's past.

When Sami was engaged to EJ, he became involved in an affair with Abigail, which she confronted them both about after it ended. She made both their lives hell, even getting EJ arrested on their wedding day for tax evasion and other crimes. However, while she never let Abigail off the hook, Sami eventually did grow to forgive EJ for what happened, and the two did marry once more. Not long after their remarriage, EJ was murdered, and Sami left town.

Now, Sami is attempting to give Abigail a taste of her own medicine, by kissing her husband and attempting to sow some seeds of discontent there. The plan won't succeed since Abigail will realize what she's trying to do, but it will likely amuse both her and Chad.

Of course, after playing that game, Sami will likely resume being more serious about why she's really back in Salem. She came home after being told it was possible Will was alive because of Dr. Rolf (William Utay), and while she doubts that her son is really alive, she has decided to return home as his loved ones all wait for the answers they seek.

Since arriving back in Salem however, it hasn't been easy for Sami. The town holds several painful reminders for her about both her husband and her son and their devastating deaths, and she's been stunned by the things she's seen since she got back, including seeing John (Drake Hogestyn) and Paul (Christopher Sean) attempting to dig up Will's grave, and finding Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) badly off the wagon and exceptionally drunk. Now, as she waits for answers about her son, she will be looking into ways to try and tackle the other problems.

However, she may have also decided to go to DiMera Mansion to genuinely ask Chad for some help with one of her missions. If not him, Kate (Lauren Koslow) may also prove to be a powerful ally for her, so she can truly help Lucas.

"Days of Our Lives" airs weekdays on NBC.
