Chad on "Days of Our Lives"
Chad (Billy Flynn) explains what happened with Abigail (Marci Miller, not pictured) to Gabi (Camila Banus, not pictured) on the April 18, 2017 episode of “Days of Our Lives.” NBC

His wife has called off their vow renewal and decided they should no longer be married because she believes his heart is with another. Now, Chad will seek out the other woman in his life to see if he can finally figure out which one he genuinely wants on the Tuesday, April 18 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Previously on the NBC soap, Abigail (Marci Miller) discovered evidence which convinced her that Chad’s (Billy Flynn) bond with Gabi (Camila Banus) was much stronger than she realized. That led to her decision to call off the vow renewal and give Chad a chance to be with the woman she believes he truly loves. Chad tried fighting his bride over her conviction, but in the end she was too certain to be persuaded otherwise, and left him.

Now, he has run into Gabi in the town square, and he will ask her to talk with him as he rehashes what happened at the ceremony, and what it could mean for his future. At the moment, he isn’t convinced he can win Abigail back, meaning if he and Gabi both want to explore the possibility of a romance again, they are each free to do so, and he may tell her that he’s willing to try something.

However, Gabi will shock Chad when she shoots him down, because while she still has deep feelings of love for him, she knows that he and Abigail won’t be apart long, because despite what Abigail thinks, Chad’s love for her is strong. Gabi knows she can’t ever overcome that, and any romance she tried having with Chad would just be temporary. She will tell him to do whatever it takes to win Abigail back, because their chance at being a couple has passed, and it will never come back.

After being rejected by her as well, Chad may then decide that no matter how much Abigail resists, he will win her back, and will start working on a plan to win her over.
