‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Nicole And Holly Are Put In A Dangerous Situation

Her new life in Canada was ripped apart when a masked intruder entered the cabin she and Brady were holed up in with Tate and Holly. Now, Nicole will learn just how dangerous her situation has gotten on the Monday, May 1 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and Brady (Eric Martsolf) were living a happy new life together in Canada after going on the run with Tate and Holly. However a masked intruder suddenly entered their new home on the NBC soap, and wasted no time grabbing Holly and shooting Brady. Previously convinced that the man was sent by Deimos (Vincent Irizarry), Nicole quickly realized that wasn’t the case, and pulled off the man’s mask—only to reveal Xander (Paul Telfer). Now, Nicole is in even more danger than she ever realized she could be in.

Previously on the soap, Nicole had kidnapped Holly from Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin), after her association with Deimos cost her custody of her biological daughter. Brady helped her escape town and later joined her in Canada with his own son after realizing he was in love with her. The bond the two shared grew stronger after Nicole’s new life on the run was nearly jeopardized by her neighbor, Scooter (Robb Derringer), who recognized her from her porn star days of the past, and was threatening to expose her to his cop wife if she didn’t sleep with him. After overcoming that situation, Nicole and Brady moved on and finally gave in to the feelings they shared, sleeping together and deciding to give their one-time romance another chance. But things quickly changed when Xander arrived at the cabin.

After initially just pointing a gun at both Nicole and Brady while holding on to Holly, Xander took action after Brady tried to knock him down and get Holly back. Xander then fired his gun, and Brady was left on the floor, bleeding, with a gunshot wound to his chest. Though she had initially been convinced that the man in the mask was sent by Deimos, Nicole realized that the person who was terrorizing them was someone else entirely, since Deimos wouldn’t have wanted Brady killed. She then pulled off the mask and saw Xander, who she thought was dead, staring back at her.

Nicole knows she will be in more danger than ever before now, because of her history with the man who became obsessed with her after he first arrived in Salem two years ago. He didn’t take it well when she rejected him in favor of Daniel, and tried to get revenge by locking both her and Eric (Greg Vaughan) in a furnace, leaving them to die. The two managed to survive the attempt on their lives, but it wasn’t the end of the threat Xander imposed. He managed to escape prison (where he was sent on false sexual assault charges) a few months ago and returned to Salem to wreak more havoc on the town, which included holding Nicole at gunpoint. However, the threat he posed seemed to be over after it was believed he was killed. Deimos had spared his life however, deciding that he would then call in a favor if needed as repayment. And while Nicole doesn’t yet know how or why Xander is still alive, she does know that he will be the biggest threat she faces, and when he kidnaps her and baby Holly, her saga will only continue to grow worse.
