There has been someone lurking around Salem who may have potentially been responsible for the letter Anna received. Now, as that person's identity is brought to the police, the actual person may announce their presence by crashing Andre's funeral on the Friday, Feb. 2 episode of "Days of Our Lives."

Andre's (Thaao Penghlis) assorted family members have gathered at the cemetery to pay their final respects to him on the NBC soap, after someone murdered him by bashing him in the head with the urn containing Tony's ashes. However, the private moment featuring Stefan (Tyler Christopher), Vivian (Louise Sorel), Chad (Billy Flynn), Abigail (Marci Miller) and Kate (Lauren Koslow) seemed to be on the verge of being interrupted, after Vivian heard someone approaching the door to the mausoleum.

Now, someone will come in to crash the funeral, and it will be someone none of them expected to see, especially after she was arrested following her attempt to get revenge on Andre for a scam he pulled on her in the past.

Hattie (Deidre Hall) had previously imprisoned Marlena (also Hall) in order to assume her identity and take over her life, as part of a revenge plot meant to get revenge on Andre for when he let her take the fall for a fraudulent scheme he ran. She had managed to get him committed to a sanitarium, but he was released quickly after her own scheme was found out. She was since carted off the jail, and her appearance now, just months later, will undoubtedly jar his loved ones.

However, her appearance may not be one that is long, as it is certainly no secret that she had it out for Andre, and Anna (Leann Hunley), who has so far been the prime suspect in the case, may be able to provide new evidence which clears her.

She and Roman (Josh Charles) had enlisted John (Drake Hogestyn) to find out who wrote the mysterious and incriminating letter Anna received just before Andre's murder, one which indicated he was to blame for Tony's death years before and could have theoretically driven Anna to finally get revenge on him. Miraculously, Jon and Paul (Christopher Sean) were able to find a watermark on the letter, one which led them to the identity of the person who wrote and delivered it. Now, with that knowledge in hand, Roman and Anna will present this new evidence to Hope (Kristian Alfonso).

Of course, if Hattie is the mysterious sender, it will certainly make her a person of interest. However, Anna may still not be entirely off the hook just yet.

"Days of Our Lives" airs weekdays on NBC.
