Dean McDermott’s ex-wife, Mary Jo Eustace, has slammed the Hollywood actor for allegedly neglecting his financial duty to their son. The actor’s estranged former partner has also pointed out the former’s lavish lifestyle.

This Monday, Us Weekly obtained a copy of the court documents filed by Eustace early last week that details McDermott’s shortcomings as the father of her 18-year-old son, Jack. In the documents, Eustace claims the 50-year-old Hollywood personality owes her son money. This may not be the first time that McDermott neglected his responsibility to his son, for Eustace wrote that “Dean has stopped paying again.”

What irks Eustace is the fact that McDermott has the capacity to pay for child support as proven by his lavish lifestyle. “In the last six weeks he has been on two luxurious vacations, Iceland & the four seasons in Punta Mita,” Eustace pointed out. “He resides in a $2 million estate paid by his mother-in-law, Candy Spelling, and has no impetus to work.”

McDermott’s lavish trips are well documented on social media by none other than his wife, The “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum has posted several photos and clips of their getaways on her Instagram.

Over the weekend, the couple was also spotted strolling through Los Angeles International Airport for another trip. The lovers were even photographed by Daily Mail donning casual but trendy clothes. It seems the getaway was only intended for the couple, since none of their kids were with them when they were seen catching their flight.

Meanwhile, Eustace believes McDermott has no intention of paying what he owes their son. “He owes over $100,000 moving forward,” she indicated in the court documents. “He bounces my son’s university rent/tuition and is delinquent in paying therapist bills, while he shops visibly and throws lavish parties for his other five children.”

Eustace is McDermott’s first wife. They got married in 1993, but divorced in 2006 in the wake of reports claiming the actor was having an affair with Spelling. Spelling and McDermott tied the knot in the same year.

In March 2017, Eustace also filed a contempt of court charge against McDermott for neglecting spousal support. She claimed back then that the actor owed her “over $100,000,” for he stopped paying for support two years ago.
