As DeMario Jackson’s ordeal continues, the “Bachelor in Paradise” Season 4 cast member is hoping for ABC to just release the footage of the alleged sexual assault he committed while filming for the show. In light of this, the reality TV actor has admitted that he now feels uneasy even in the confines of his own home.

Jackson is said to be hurt by the negativity that is being thrown against him while the sexual misconduct investigation continues. “DeMario has lost his job because of this scandal and it has hurt him and his family greatly,” a source revealed to Us Weekly. “DeMario doesn’t even feel comfortable staying in his own home because of all the negative attention.”

The same source reiterated what Jackson previously said, which is that he wants the tapes of the incident to be published so that the truth would come out. “He is hoping that ABC will review or release all footage from that day and night and everyone will see he is not in the wrong,” the source said.

Jackson’s lawyer Walter Mosley has also opened up to Variety about how the issue has affected his client. “This has caused a lot of trauma — both physical and emotional injury,” Mosley said. “It’s been difficult for DeMario and his family. He is a celebrity for all the wrong reasons.”

Mosley also stated that the tapes or footage of the incident will provide a clear answer to the issue. “This is one of those rare occasions because they were shooting a reality television show,” he said. “For 20 or 30 people to get it wrong or to miss something, for seasoned professionals over at Warner Bros. and ABC to get it wrong and for some third party who never saw the tape and who wasn’t on set at the time of the incident to make an accusation — as a lawyer, it’s like Christmas.”

Amid the tribulation, Jackson has a support system that has his back. “He is being supported by family and friends right now who knows he is not capable of anything like this,” the source explained.

Now all Jackson is asking for is the swift and thorough completion of the investigation.

Meanwhile, Jackson’s ex, Alexis “Lexi” Thexton, has come to the embattled reality star’s defense on Thursday. Thexton claimed that her ex-lover is not capable of doing what Corinne Olympios is accusing him. For her, Jackson is a “30-year-old man child” who may have an inclination to party a lot, but he is not the type to take advantage of a drunk woman.
