The Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez feud is still going strong, if Gomez's fans are to be believed.

Selenators, what the “Love You Like A Love Song” singer's fans are collectively known, are not happy with Lovato's statements in a recent clip.

Working undercover as a Lyft driver, Lovato talked to her passengers like an ordinary Lovatic, a.k.a. Lovato fan. One of her passengers commented on how much she likes Lovato's song “Confident.” In response, Lovato said she also likes the song before adding that “Selena is so much more talented.”

While some might take it as Lovato giving her old friend Gomez a compliment, fans of the “Kill Em With Kindness” singer think otherwise.

Replying to Lovato's tweet promoting the clip, some fans posted that the “Cool for the Summer” songstress said it just to get attention. Some of Lovato's fans, on the other hand, were sharing how happy they were about Lovato's supposed sly remark.

Lovato and Gomez were good friends. Their friendship was shaken, however, when Gomez got close to Taylor Swift in 2010. The two patched things up in the same year Lovato went to rehab. Speaking to Televisionet, as quoted by The Huffington Post, Lovato said Gomez was there for her during such a trying time and the experience brought them closer. After Lovato's rehab stint, the two reunited at the 2011 Teen Choice Awards. Things were swell again until early 2014.

The friendship appeared to have ended by the middle of 2014. Lovato reportedly unfollowed Gomez on Instagram and Twitter and even posted a meme of herself with a statement that read: “Swimming away from your b**s***. Bye, b***h.” The two appeared to have reconciled again in Aug. 2015; however, in September of the same year, Lovato told Complex that she and Gomez were no longer communicating.
