Demi Moore was rushed to hospital after a frantic 911 call by friends. The 49-year-old actress is said to be struggling with mental health issues, along with anorexia and substance abuse, following her split from husband Ashton Kutcher, 33, in November last year amid speculation that he cheated on her. Demi Moore has been hospitalized.

The 49-year-old actress was admitted to an L.A. hospital on Monday night after a 9-1-1 call was made from her home, TMZ reports.

Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health, Moore's rep told TMZ.

She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends, the rep added.

Moore is reportedly being treated for substance abuse, sources told TMZ on Tuesday.

In November, the Margin Call actress released a statement on her broken marriage to Ashton Kutcher, following months of speculation that Kutcher had cheated on her.

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton . . . as a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life, Moore stated at the time.

Since her split from Kutcher, 33, Moore has been closely watched by fans and gossipmongers alike. From her Twitter activity to her apparent weight loss, Moore has had a rough year.

On Tuesday night, Moore's friends and colleagues in Hollywood sent well wishes via Twitter.
