RTTNews - Tuesday, the Statistics Denmark said in a report that the current account recorded a surplus of DKK2.87 billion in April, reversing from a deficit of DKK234 million in March.

The balance on the goods and services account showed a surplus of DKK1.4 billion, lower than the surplus of DKK2.2 billion in the previous month. The trade balance was in deficit at DKK 803 million compared to a surplus of DKK2.7 billion in March. However, the surplus in the income account widened to DKK3.9 billion from DKK708 million in March.

Meanwhile, the current transfers account showed a deficit of DKK2.47 billion in April, smaller than a DKK3.15 billion deficit in the previous month. Capital transfers recorded a surplus of DKK37 million in April compared to a DKK38 million surplus last month.
