Friday, the Statistics Denmark announced that the retail sales rose 0.1% month-on-month in March, compared with a 1% increase in the previous month. In January, retail sales were up 0.8%.

In March, food and other groceries sales grew 0.4% on a monthly basis, while retail sales of clothing dropped 0.4%.

Year-on-year, retail sales dropped 3.7% in March, after falling 8.9% in February. Retail sales fell in the first three months of this year.
