Crown Princess Mary and Prince Frederik of Denmark’s twins Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine are all set to celebrate their fifth birthday on Friday. The youngest of the children of the royal couple of Denmark, the duo have melted hearts of fans everywhere. Josephine is only 26 minutes younger than her brother.

It is being said that Mary and Frederik will rope in an official photographer to take pictures of the kids and release their pictures on the occasion of their birthday. It is a tradition followed by the Danish royals every year for their twins’ birthday. Royal watchers also said that Mary even may go behind the camera and take the photographs herself.

The Australian-born princess took official pictures of her twins on the occasion of their second birthday. Since they were first introduced to the world in 2011, when Frederik described his new arrivals as “miracles times two,” the blonde tots have changed remarkably.

The royal twins of Denmark have become the stars of the show during family photoshoots and holidays. The young scene-stealers have been pictured giggling away and bonding with their older siblings Prince Christian, 10, and eight-year-old Princess Isabella.

The royals will reportedly celebrate the birthday in the privacy of their home, as they have done in previous years. Mary, Frederik and their four children will most likely celebrate the occasion along with their extended family. The crown prince’s parents Queen Margrethe II and Prince Henrik, the Prince Consort, and Frederik’s younger brother Prince Joachim and his family will join them.

The family-of-six spent their Christmas holidays in Mary’s home country Australia, where they went for the first time since 2011. They visited the 43-year-old princess’s family and friends in the country and also spend time off at the Gold Coast.
