Derek Jeter Sent Past Conquests Home with Signed Baseballs

If you had the pleasure of sleeping with Derek Jeter, you might have gotten a bonus gift of a signed baseball, according to a hilarious New York Post story.

The Post reports that after the Yankees' captain has a one-night stand with some lucky lady, he sends them home in a private car and with a basket of Jeter memorabilia.

Derek has girls stay with him at his apartment in New York, and then he gets them a car to take them home the next day. Waiting in his car is a gift basket containing signed Jeter memorabilia, usually a signed baseball, a source told the tabloid newspaper.

The only issue for the popular Yankees shortstop is that he pulled his go-to move on the same girl twice! Jeter forgot he had previously hooked up with the young female and sent her home with the same parting gift - a signed baseball -- as the previous hookup.

He basically gave her the same gift twice because he'd forgotten hooking up with her the first time!

Jeter had been dating actress Minka Kelly for three years before breaking up this past August. Many thought the two would eventually get married, but the pair amicably split shortly after Jeter got his 3,000^th hit.

He broke up with Minka in the summer and is definitely over her, a source told the Post. He is playing the field.

Since the split, Jeter has been allegedly hooking up with a slew of women, though trying to do so under the radar. The Post reports that Jeter typically goes out on off-nights and tries to sneak potential mates through the back-door entrance of the Trump World Tower.

He normally doesn't go out with girls. He will have them come to his house. He'll have cocktail parties. His friends invite girls they think he'll be interested in. He's very shy, another friend explained.

He'll occasionally take girls to a restaurant. He has a couple of restaurants that he goes to that aren't trendy, the friend said.

Jeter has previously been linked to Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Mariah Carey, and a host of other models and celebrities.
