Derrick Rose continues his Most Valuable Player candidacy by scoring 24 points in a Bulls road victory over the Magic at Amway Center.

Chicago out-rebounded the Magic 50-30, due in part to bench player Omer Asik's 13-rebound performance.

The Magic got an excellent performance from Dwight Howard who scored 20 points on eight-of-eight shooting. But Howard also picked up his 16th technical foul, which means he faces a suspension.

Jason Richardson and Brandon Bass each contributed 16 points in the home loss.

Chicago has now won eight of their last 10 games.

Both the Bulls and Magic are headed to the playoffs, but what seed they get is another story. Right now the Bulls have the number three seed in the East. Orlando has the fourth seed.

Chicago improves to a 42-18 record. Orlando slips to 40-23.
