Being the president of the United States is not easy, but having your predecessor by your side sure makes the job a whole lot easier. On Wednesday’s episode of “Designated Survivor,” Tom Kirkman (Kiefer Sutherland) lost his Chief of Staff Aaron Shore (Adan Canto) after he resigned from his position. He was interrogated by the FBI and word of it had spread. Aaron didn’t want Kirkman to have a scandal in his office.

Fortunately, the former president of the country, Cornelius Moss (Geoff Pierson), accepted Kirkman’s offer to join his team as Secretary of State after he helped him solve a dire situation in an impoverished African country.

Episode 14 also saw FBI Agent Hannah Wells (Maggie Q) making significant progress with her investigation into the Capitol bombing after capturing former Chief of Staff, Charles Langdon (Peter Outerbridge), and interrogating him. What will happen next week on “Designated Survivor”?

Kirkman is going to take Moss’ advice about reacting instead of leading the country very seriously. According to the official synopsis, Tom will release an agenda to reset his presidency. In the promo, he announces to the press that he wants to reset the clock and let his first hundred days begin now.

Unfortunately, his first hundred days won’t be easy. Kirkman’s wife Alex (Natascha McElhone) makes a controversial public statement that threatens to derail his agenda of resetting the clock.

The preview of episode 15, titled “One Hundred Days,” shows the former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development answering some very unpleasant questions from the press. One reporter asks the Commander-in-Chief if America will ever be safe again,

Fortunately, this isn’t the last we’ve seen of Shore. Congresswoman and Madam Speaker, Kimble Hookstraten (Virginia Madsen), offers Aaron a job – work for her.

Meanwhile, Hannah continues to make progress in her investigation. Unfortunately, the investigation also leads her to dangerous situations. The synopsis states that Hannah will unknowingly find herself at the center of a dangerous trap.
