Between them, Michael and Alexandra Misczynski of Atelier AM in Los Angeles have worked for Richard Meier, Rose Tarlow, and Michael Smith (they've also designed interiors for a house in Bel Air by John Pawson); the couple's projects reflect their combined experiences, mixed with an appreciation for a refined European aesthetic (according to Boris Vervoordt, son of Belgian antiques expert Axel Vervoordt, They draw a lot of inspiration from what's done in our part of the world, although it's translated in a very California way).
