Hey, “Destiny” fans! It’s that time again! Xur, Agent of the Nine, is back in Bungie’s popular shooter for the weekend, and he’s got some cool new inventory. Xur showed up early Friday morning by the Shipwright.

“Destiny” is currently one of the most popular first-person shooter games on the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. As of Nov. 4, Activision confirmed the game has 9.5 million registered players. In-game character Xur, Agent of the Nine, is a merchant within the “Destiny” Tower who sells various weapons, armor and other items in exchange for Strange Coins and Motes of Light. Xur can be found around the Tower in different locations every weekend. But he'll be available only for the next two days.

"Destiny" was developed by Bungie and published by Activision. It was launched on Sept. 9 as part of a 10-year publishing deal. The game is set in the 28th century in a post-apocalyptic setting. Activision claims it's the most successful new franchise launch ever, with more than 11 million gameplay sessions.
