"Devious Maids" Season 4 Spoilers
Genevieve (Susan Lucci, left) was forced to chose between saving Zoila's (Judy Reyes) life or her baby's in the Season 3 finale of "Devious Maids." Lifetime

Fans aren’t the only ones counting down the days until the Season 4 premiere of Lifetime’s “Devious Maids.” Susan Lucci, who portrays wealthy socialite Genevieve Delatour on the series, revealed that she also can’t wait for the summer soap opera to return to the small screen.

“Devious Maids!!! One week from tonight, Monday, June 6th, at 9 p.m. — I’ll be watching our Devious Season 4 premiere!!!!” the actress captioned a behind-the-scenes photo from the upcoming installment Tuesday. In the Instagram picture, fans can see Lucci’s character having an intense, late-night chat with someone who looks quite similar to Zoila (Judy Reyes) — Genevieve’s maid and friend, whose fate was left hanging in the Season 3 finale.

When audiences last saw Zoila, she was knocked unconscious while giving birth to her child. Genevieve was then tasked with making a life-altering decision.

“The doctor came to Genevieve [and said] she had to make a serious decision between saving Zoila’s life or the unborn baby,” Lucci revealed during an AOL Build event in February, adding that her character’s decision will be revealed in the anticipated Season 4 premiere episode, titled “Once More Unto the Bleach.”

“I wish I could say [what Genevieve’s decisions is] — but I don’t want it to be a spoiler because it’s much more fun to watch!” she stated.

But it looks like fans don’t have to wait until the Season 4 premiere to find out what Genevieve’s nail-biting decision was. Lucci’s behind-the-scenes photo showed Zoila alive, well and, unfortunately, without her baby.

“Devious Maids” will return with its Season 4 premiere on Monday, June 6, at 9 p.m. EDT on Lifetime.
