“Devious Maids” Season 4 Spoilers
The ladies of “Devious Maids” attempted to find out who the Season 3 murderer was in the blood-drenched finale. Lifetime

Our favorite girls will be cleaning up another blood-stained mess when Season 4 of “Devious Maids” premieres Monday night. But before the dramatic installment hits our small screens with more chaos and murders, check out what happened in the deadly Season 3 finale of the hit Lifetime series.

The sizzling summer drama concluded on an explosive note — literally — when Evelyn (Rebecca Wisocky) and Adrian’s (Tom Irwin) mansion blew up in flames. But before the Powell residence turned to ashes, the episode kicked off on a slightly cheerier note — well, for Carmen (Roselyn Sanchez) at least. While the ladies were trying to figure out who killed Blanca (Naya Rivera), the major mystery of Season 3, Carmen interrupted their real-life game of Clue to divulge some news: Sebastien (Gillies Marini) had proposed to her.

Carmen then showed off her rock to her group of stone-faced friends. It appeared that Zoila (Judy Reyes), Rosie (Dania Ramirez) and Marisol (Ana Ortiz) weren’t too thrilled that their friend was getting married to a man who cheated on his previous spouse.

“If Sebastien cheated on his wife, what makes you think he wouldn’t cheat on you?” Marisol asked Carmen, only to have the bride-to-be fire back that Marisol must be jealous since she can’t “keep a man.”

Marisol and Carmen weren’t the only friends to argue during the episode. Zoila and Genevieve (Susan Lucci) had attempted to repair their damaged relationship by attending couples counseling. During therapy, Zoila revealed to her employer/friend that after 20 years of companionship she felt like she was tossed aside by Genevieve when her pal chose her boyfriend over their friendship. And it wasn’t just Genevieve’s betrayal that hurt Zoila — Zoila was absolutely livid when she found out that Genevieve had been speaking to her former fiancé behind her back. After learning of Genevieve’s secret camaraderie with Javier (Ivan Hernandez), Zoila demanded that the two return to therapy at once. But on their way to counseling the unimaginable happened: The elevator stalled just as Zoila’s water broke.

Genevieve, however, refused to deliver her bestie’s baby and found the strength to pry the elevator doors open to get help. After returning with assistance, Zoila was brought to the hospital, which is when the expectant mother began experiencing complications. Genevieve was then tasked with deciding whether the doctors should make Zoila’s life a priority or the baby’s.

Meanwhile, Evelyn decided to divorce Adrian after their adoption fell through, while Rosie learned that Spence (Grant Show) had forgotten they were married after being brutally attacked by a cartel member. But the drama started really heating up when Carmen found the dress Blanca was wearing the night she was killed in her fiancé’s possession.

“I really wish you hadn’t found that,” her betrothed said to her just after Marisol uncovered from Taylor (Brianna Brown) that Carmen’s fiancé was the real killer.

The episode ends with Sebastien holding Marisol, Carmen and the Powells at gunpoint. His hostages then grow by one when Adrian calls Michael (Brett Cullen) for cash when Sebastien says he needs money to leave town. But Sebastian never gets the a cent from Michael after shooting him dead.

With their lives on the line, Carmen decided to make a bold move by luring her lover close with a kiss, hoping to escape. She then asked her husband-to-be to remove her handcuffs, giving Marisol the ability to smack Sebastian over the head with a tool from the Powells' fireplace. Everyone was able to race out of the house, which was filled with gas, except for Adrian, who went back in to retrieve a family photo, and the killer, who accidentally set off a spark, causing the house to explode.

“Devious Maids” will answer its Season 3 finale cliffhangers in the Season 4 premiere of the hit Lifetime series on Monday, June 6, at 9 p.m. EDT.
