"Dexter" just keeps giving the gift of promos. Although Showtime released the first two minutes of the season seven premiere at San Diego's Comic-Con this year, the network is also treating fans to a full-on trailer for the new season.

The two minute trailer kicks off with a familiar scene, Deb pointing a gun at Dexter, who has a dead man in front of him on an altar at a church.

"My little secret," Dexter's voice narrates over the chilling scene. "I've dreaded this moment my whole life. "

"You've had a moment of temporary insanity," a seemingly traumatized Deb tells her brother. "We can fix this."

But can Deb and Dexter actually make it past this death? Or will Dexter's dirty (and bloody) secret finally be revealed this season.

Judging by the trailer, season seven of "Dexter" seems to be about America's favorite serial killer and his adopted sister attempting to overcome the murder that Deb witnessed. The pair end up burning the church down, but a mistake on Dexter's part ends up with not only the police breathing down his neck, but his own sister.

With the fire and body being linked to the Bay Harbor Butcher, it looks like the trust Deb once had in Dexter is officially gone...something that Dexter strongly fears.

"The only thing worse than not knowing what she'll do, is not knowing what I'll do," he voices over a scene of a passed out Deb with a shadow of a knife over her.

"Dexter" returns for season seven on Sept. 30 at 9 p.m. on Showtime.
