As the “Basketball Wives” Season 6 premiere gets closer, VH1 star Tami Roman has continuously expressed her dislike for Evelyn Lozada, who she was once friends with. It seems like the reality star even shaded her rival on Instagram.

On Thursday, Tami shared a quote on her Instagram account about friendship. “This year I only want to be around people who love me, not the people that pretend they do,” the quote read.

“Mantra for business, friendships and relationships - go where the love is...you’re too special for anything less,” Tami captioned the photo.

The post comes after the “Basketball Wives” Season 6 teaser in which Tami made it clear that she and Evelyn were no longer friends. “She’s not a friend of mine, then or now. I’m going to get you when you least expect it,” Tami says in the teaser.

In the video, Tami goes on to insult Evelyn by claiming that she has had relations with many athletes from the different player associations. “Am I going to allow you to be disrespectful to me? Never!” Evelyn can be heard saying in the video.

Although Evelyn has not done much press in which she addresses her issues with Tami, her VH1 co-star has let others know there is still plenty of bad blood between the two. During an interview with “Hollywood Today” in March, Tami explained that she has tried to be nice to Evelyn but it hasn’t worked out.

“I start off with the best intentions and I’m always thinking ‘Tami, you’re not getting involved with any drama, you’re just going to be kumbaya and let’s love each other’ and then the person shows up and they say something and it all goes left,” the star explained.

It’s clear that when the series returns there will be plenty of tension between Evelyn and Tami.

“Basketball Wives” Season 6 airs Monday, April 17 at 9 p.m. EDT on VH1.
