Following former "Bachelor" star Colton Underwood's candid self-disclosure on "Good Morning America" regarding his sexuality, a clip from the reality show, featuring his exchange with actor Billy Eichner, has resurfaced online for its apparent oracular nature.

Eichner, who made a brief appearance on the show in 2019, had joked about Underwood's sexuality. During the exchange, Eichner is seen asking the former NFL player about being a virgin. Then Underwood asks Eichner what he looks for in a partner. "The first thing I do – I'm gay, I know that's a shock, Colton," Eichner says, "and that, I think, you should look into."

Underwood smiles, and Eichner adds, "Maybe you're the first gay Bachelor and we don't even know!" Underwood smiles and stammers a bit, seemingly speechless. Then Eichner turns to the camera, "Put that in your promo!"

After Underwood came out as gay on Wednesday, one of the fans tweeted, "billy eichner predicting the future," along with the old clip.

As the 29-year-old reality dating show alum opened up about his sexuality, he said, "I've ran from myself for a long time; I've hated myself for a long time."

"The next step in all of this is letting people know. I'm still nervous... It's been a journey for sure. I'm emotional in such a good, happy, positive way. I'm the happiest and healthiest I've ever been in my life and that means the world to me."

Soon after the video clip went viral, Eichner extended his support to Underwood in a series of tweets.

He tweeted: "Here’s how Hollywood works: Colton’s gonna get a GLAAD Award before I do" with laughing emoji.

"Two things. Number one, pop culture now sometimes makes it seem like every 14-year-old gay boy is flying out of the closet without a care in the world," the 42-year-old actor tweeted. "Some are. And that’s INCREDIBLE. But many are not. So let’s remember that."

"AND let’s ALSO honor and praise those in entertainment who came out years - DECADES - before it was embraced and could be used to professional advantage," he added. "I don’t mean me - I mean many others, especially those before me - that took real guts. Let’s put some shine on them too."

He later pointed out Los Angeles Times' headline and wrote, "Framing this headline."

Besides entertainment, Eichner has also joined the progressive political group Swing Left in 2019.
