When it comes to a breakup with Taylor Swift, the “Shake It Off” singer is usually the one spilling the tea in a song . However, fans think Calvin Harris may have turned the tables on his ex-girlfriend.

On Thursday, Harris spoke with iHeartRadio to discuss his new song “My Way,” which features him doing the singing. “[The] song’s kind of about breaking out of a situation that I thought was a good thing. Then you're way more comfortable out of it. And it could be anything. It could be a job or it could be a relationship. I kind of had the idea for the concept for a few years, but I didn't know how to work out how it sounded.”

While Harris said he’s had the song concept for a few years, lyrics such as, “I made my move and it was all about you. I feel so far removed. You are the one thing in my way,” make it hard not to think the song is about Swift.

It’s those lyrics that led many to tweet about Harris beating Swift at her own game.

Swift, 26, and Harris, 32, ended their relationship in June after dating for 15 months. Following their breakup, Swift began a short relationship with actor Tom Hiddleston that ended earlier this month. While Harris and Swift’s relationship ended amicably, Harris went off on the singer in July after it was revealed she wrote Harris’ song “This Is What You Came For.”

“I figure if you’re happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do,” he wrote in a tweet. “I know you’re off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy [Perry] ETC but I’m not that guy, sorry. I won’t allow it.”

Harris eventually apologized for his outburst, telling British GQ, “It was completely the wrong instinct. I was protecting what I see as my one talent in the world being belittled.”
