Although Camila Cabello seemingly cut ties with Fifth Harmony after leaving the group in December, it seems like the two parties won’t be able to get much distance from one another due to their ties to the entertainment industry.

On Thursday, Cabello and 5H attended the 2017 Latin American Music Awards, where they hit the same stage separately to perform. Fifth Harmony performed first alongside Pitbull, singing their song, “Por Favor.”

Meanwhile, Cabello hit the stage later on, where she performed a bilingual version of her hit song, “Havana.” Even though both performances went off without a hitch, it seemed like the ladies went to special lengths to avoid each other.

“The “Crying in the Club” singer was noticeably absent from the red carpet ahead of the Latin AMAs, where her former group members, Dinah Jane Hansen, Normani Kordei, Ally Brooke Hernandez and Lauren Jauregui, happily posed for the cameras in glamorous gowns.

Cabello later made an appearance in the press room after her performance, wearing the same outfit she took the stage in.

During an interview with Billboard in February, Cabello revealed that she and her former bandmates were not on good terms following the split. The star explained that she attempted to reach out to them but did not receive a reply.

“I don’t want to get into the details of that because it was really intense and it’s hard for me to talk about. It makes me sad,” Cabello said at the time.

“I hoped that it would be a peaceful turning of the page and we would root for each other. But I only got love for them,” she added.

Cabello has since unfollowed her former group members on social media and they followed suit. Since the star’s decision to go solo, Fifth Harmony has refused to change their name and have no plans on adding a new member to their group.

Although the ladies managed to avoid each other this time, they will have to work out a plan once again when the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball tour rolls around.

Fifth Harmony and Cabello are both scheduled to take the same stage at three shows during the 11-stop tour.
