If there is one thing David Foster knows how to do, it's how to make award-winning records, but he has another talent that may not be so well-known -- his ability to keep a secret.

In the new Netflix documentary "David Foster: Off the Record," the 70-year-old Canadian musician opens up about his decision to split from "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" alum Yolanda Hadid. At the time, many speculated that it was due to her health issues as the divorce came around the same time the 56-year-old Dutch model was diagnosed with Lyme disease.

According to Page Six, Foster denies those claims in the film but doesn't offer up another reason in its place.

"How can I leave a sick woman? The fact of the matter is that was not the reason I left," the famed producer said. "It was for a different reason which I will never disclose that had nothing to do with her being sick."

He goes on to talk about his experience on "RHOBH" which he doesn't seem to have particularly enjoyed.

"My wife at the time wanted to do the show," he recalled. "I didn’t want to be the guy to say no."

Foster also didn't seem to enjoy the fact that he was beginning to be recognized as the husband of one of the "Real Housewives" instead of for the accolades he has amassed over the years. He explained that when that happens he wants to tell fans of the show, "Hey, I’ve got 16 [expletive] Grammys, half a billion records. [Expletive] that show!"

"Anyone that calls me an [expletive] for the things I’ve done, I think they’re probably right,” he admitted. "I think I have been an [expletive] a lot. I’m not a cold-hearted [expletive] either."

Yolanda and David divorced in 2015 after nine years together, the last four of which they were married. Since then they both have moved on with new partners. For the multi-Grammy award-winning musician, he found love with 36-year-old "American Idol" alum Katharine McPhee and the duo recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary.

Yolanda seems to be enjoying her time with Joseph Jingoli, an American investor and CEO in his mid-50's.
