Rapper Early Hayes allegedly shot girlfriend Stephanie Moseley and then turned the gun on himself in a Los Angeles apartment, TMZ reported in an exclusive Monday. Details of the situation were unclear, but Hayes allegedly accused Moseley of having an affair with a famous singer, sources said.

The alleged murder-suicide took place near The Grove early Monday, TMZ said. After residents heard gunshots and loud screams, authorities reportedly rushed to the scene. When they broke down the door to get inside, the report said, officials found two bodies that appeared to have been shot.

Hayes, a rapper, used to be signed to Floyd Mayweather’s Money Team. Moseley was known for the VH1 show “Hit The Floor.” She also worked as a backup dancer who had gigs with A-list stars like Britney Spears and Chris Brown.

Two days before the shooting took place, Moseley wrote “Flower Girl” on Twitter and then added a single rose. A day earlier, she posted another two words: “Water baby.”

Twitter users flocked to the social network after they heard the news.

On Instagram, many of Moseley’s 65,000 followers began to mourn her passing. “R.I.P. God bless her family and loved ones. #staystrong,” sultrysweet wrote. “Gone to soon...R.I.P,” ebonisays added.
