After dropping their single “Down” in June, Fifth Harmony has finally revealed some major details about their upcoming album.

On Monday, the group performed on the “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” where the host announced that their new album will be self-titled and released on Aug. 25. “Fifth Harmony” will mark the group’s third studio album and their first one without Camila Cabello.

Although 5H members Lauren Jauregui, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane Hansen and Ally Brooke Hernandez have vowed to remain a foursome since the “Crying in the Club” singer’s departure late last year, there are still some celebrities jokingly trying to land a spot as the fifth member of the group, the latest being Gucci Mane.

The rapper, who is featured on the band’s first single from their upcoming album, took to Twitter to stake his claim in the group. The “Both” artist posted a photo of himself with the group while on the set of Jimmy Fallon’s show. “Meet the newest member of @FifthHarmony,” he wrote along with a laughing emoji.

In June, the group told MTV that the idea to change the group name after Cabello left was thrown around but they decided to keep things the way they were.

“It was obviously a thought because it was a prevalent thing that there’s four of us not five. Regardless, we were all very united in the fact that we didn’t want to change the name,” Jauregui explained.

“We felt like within ourselves, no, Fifth Harmony is the name we grew up with and we worked for and it’s our brand,” she added.

Jauregui revealed that the group was too connected to the name in order to just give it up in exchange for a new one. “It’s who we are. It’s our whole entire moment. It’s what we spent five years on,” she stated.

Hansen told MTV that they already had a fifth member following Cabello’s departure from the group. “The fans named us Fifth Harmony. They named us Fifth Harmony and now they’re the fifth member,” she said.

Cabello left the group in December 2016 in order to pursue a career as a solo artist. Although the artist previously revealed that she had issues with some of the Fifth Harmony songs because she couldn’t relate to them and the group had no say in the writing process, for their third studio album, 5H reportedly wrote more than half the songs on their third album.

For the upcoming album, the group has worked with the likes of Sebastian Kole, Skrillex, Dreamlab, Poo Bear and more. Leah Haywood of Dreamlab told Billboard that the group was focused during the writing process for their self-titled album. “We sat and wrote verses together, because they’re empowered women who want to be pushing the agenda,” she said.

Meanwhile, Poo Bear, who worked with Skrillex during a writing session with the group revealed that he was impressed with the ladies’ creativity. “I was pretty blown away. They were hungry and excited and seemed like they had a serious new point to prove,” he said.

The “Fifth Harmony” album is scheduled to hit shelves later this summer ahead of Cabello’s, “The Hurting, The Healing, The Loving,” which is expected to be released in the fall.
