Diddy and Cassie are still together, contrary to reports.

Rumors of a split started after the couple had a fight in Beverly Hills on Wednesday, Aug. 17. But a source confirmed to Us Weekly on Friday that the two have not broken up and are actually sticking together following the argument.

TMZ — the first to report the “explosive” argument — has learned that the pair got into a heated fight in a car after Cassie told the 46-year-old rapper that she wanted to end their relationship. The celebrity gossip and entertainment news website revealed that Diddy got very suspicious of his girlfriend that he grabbed her phone and started scrolling through.

A source said that the “I’ll Be Missing You” hitmaker got off the car in Beverly Hills with Cassie’s phone in hand, but he eventually went home and returned her phone.

Cassie, however, had reportedly told her mom about the phone incident before Diddy returned it, so her mom called the police on him. The cops ended up at Cassie's home, and even though she already got her phone back, the police made a domestic incident report before leaving.

Despite all that happened, a source told Us Weekly that it was just an argument.

Diddy and Cassie, 29, have been dating on and off since 2007. According to the Daily Mail, Diddy and Cassie split in December only to be reunited again. At the time, the “Me & U” songstress made an Instagram post that read: “How I sleep knowing that I'm single and no one is cheating on me.”

The news of the couple’s fight came amid the revelation that Diddy's Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour has had to be delayed again. Diddy was supposed to start his new tour in Columbus, Ohio on Aug. 25, but it was pushed back to Sept. 1 in Chicago to give the hip hop artist more time to recover from a surgery.
