The National Basketball Association’s Dallas Mavericks have released a spoof video featuring power forward Dirk Nowitzki.

The video follows the same format of a Geico commercial that featured a camel walking around an office asking workers “Guess what day it is,” over and over again. One of the co-workers acquiesces to the question, and the camel answers “Hump day!”

In the Dallas Mavericks version, Nowitzki walks around the office asking the same question, even humorously asking the Mavs’ horse mascot, Champ, the question. When someone finally acquiesces to the question, Nowitzki exclaims “Game Day!”

The video was done as part of a campaign to promote fall season ticket sales at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.

Nowitzki originally joined the NBA after being picked by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 1998 draft. He was then traded to the Dallas Mavericks, who he has been playing for since then.
