Update 11:20 p.m. EDT: Disneyland has tweeted: "Review is complete. Mickey's Toontown has been deemed 'all clear' by local authorities. Guests are welcomed to return."

Update 10:15 p.m. EDT: Disneyland has officially responded to the explosion, stating that no one was injured.

“This afternoon, a small bang was heard in a trash can at Mickey's Toontown. In an abundance of caution, the area was evacuated,” read a tweet from the official Disneyland Twitter account. “There were no injuries and no reported damage. We are working with local authorities who are now on-site and reviewing.”

9:40 p.m. EDT: An explosion has been reported at the Disneyland theme park in Anaheim, Calif. Several Twitter users who said they were at the park stated the explosion occurred inside Disneyland’s Toontown area Tuesday evening. No injuries have been reported.

Los Angeles’ KTLA TV confirmed the news, stating that the explosion originated from a trashcan in the park’s Toontown section. Fire crews are reportedly on the scene to deal with the Disneyland explosion and its aftermath. No injuries have been reported, though Disneyland is currently being evacuated. Anaheim police are reportedly already examining the area.

Though the cause of the Disneyland explosion has not been confirmed, LA Now reporter Andrew Blankenstein says the Anaheim PD ascribed it to dry ice reacting inside a plastic bottle. It appears that the bottle was fashioned into an intentional "dry ice bomb."

The news of the Disneyland explosion was broken by several park attendees on Twitter.

“Was sitting in Toontown at Disneyland and something exploded in the trash can. I felt the sound waves of it and Toontown is closed,” reported one Twitter user.

“Something went BOOM in Toontown at Disneyland and now they're evacuating,” wrote another, who also posted a picture of several visitors evacuating the park. The crowd appeared to be evacuating Disneyland in an orderly fashion.

"It came from a trash can next to the trolley stop in the middle of Toontown. Everyone stopped and looked around when it happened," he continued.

So far, Disney has not released an official statement.
