Johannesburg bourse, mid-tier mining group Metorex, has commenced legal proceedings against Central African Mining & Exploration Company (CAMEC) in the amount of GP86.3m, the company announced on Thursday.The company refers to the announcement made by Copper Resources Corporation (CRC) in December confirming that it had disenfranchised CAMEC as a consequence of CAMEC's failure to comply with the provisions of Article 56A of CRC's articles of association and extend a mandatory offer to CRC shareholders.Metorex has sought legal advice on its position as a member of CRC and based on this advice the company has instigated the relevant proceedings.
