The dollar fell to session lows versus the yen and euro on Wednesday as U.S. bond yields dropped following a solid auction of seven-year Treasury notes.

The dollar hit as low as 81.70 yen on trading platform EBS, its weakest level in more than six weeks. It was last at 81.72 yen, down 0.9 percent on the day.

The euro climbed as high as $1.3224 on EBS and was last trading at $1.3216, up 0.8 percent.
