FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - U.S Housing starts have increased below expectations, 1.5 up to an adjusted annual rate of 598,000 units, well below the market forecasts of a 3.3% increase, while U.S. initial jobless claims declined by 12,000 on the week of September 12, against the experts expectations of a 13,000 increase. The Dollar has picked up.

EUR/USD decline from 1.4767 high has extended after U.S. data, as te Euro declined from levels around 1.4715 to test intra-day low at 1.4700, which, so far, remains intact, as the Euro returned to 1.4715.

GBP/USD eased from levels around 1.6520 to test intra-day low at 1.6490/00 area and the pair returned to current levels around 1.6511.

USD/JPY rebound at 90.50 reached an intra-day high as the Dollar spiked up to 91.60,right below Sept 25 high at 91.65 and the pair pulled down afterwards to levels around 91.30.
