In its nearly 50-year history, there have been some funny flubbed answers from contestants over the years on Jeopardy! Who could forget, when one contestant suggested What is a threesome? during the Jeopardy Tournament of Champions quarterfinal game in 2011? Or when infamous contestant Ken Jennings answered What is a hoe? to the question, This term for a long-handled gardening tool can also mean an immoral pleasure seeker?

But this incident, while less obviously crude, is certainly one to go down in the books.

On Monday, Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek posed the question, A blow to the back of the neck is the punch named for this animal.

Contestant Mike piped up almost immediately, answering, What is a donkey? referring to a donkey punch described quite candidly on Urban Dictionary, for those unfamiliar with the sexually-charged entendre term.

The reaction? Trebek chuckles lightly, the audience and viewers feel uncomfortable and the term donkey punch becomes a worldwide trending topic on the Internet. On Twitter, countless users commented on the donkey punch moment, most which included a hashtag with the word fail.

Reason #1,438,244 I dont like carting my boss to DC: I had to explain to him what a donkey punch was and why it was funny. #thankstrebek, Twitter user WoodysWorldTV wrote in response to the Jeopardy! answer.

The answer was actually What is a rabbit punch? a term commonly used in the boxing world.
