Dow turns higher, Nasdaq at session highs
The Dow turned higher in late trading on Friday, led by technology shares and big manufacturers, while the Nasdaq was at session highs and the S&P 500 moved again into positive territory.
The Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> was up 6.35 points, or 0.06 percent, at 10,613.21. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index <.SPX> was up 3.09 points, or 0.27 percent, at 1,144.78. The Nasdaq Composite Index <.IXIC> was up 16.66 points, or 0.72 percent, at 2,316.71.
