Luxury Residences: Evo is a revolutionarily designed structure that offers the haut monde residences that evoke an unparalleled synthesis of bleeding-edge architecture and decadence in one elegantly streamlined 23-story framework. Overlooking the cityscape of downtown Los Angeles, Evo is helmed by the unlimitedly imaginative team of TVA and GBD. These are two progressive architectural firms that are prominent mainstays of futuristic building concepts.

LAUNCH SLIDESHOW

The exterior of Evo resembles a meticulous ice sculpture as the imagery of the glazed glass and the metallic beams is a most formidable tribute to the expansive vertical evolution. Evo's breathtaking beauty is more than just aesthetically pleasing though. The complex is seeking a green star for being ecologically correct, too. The developers are seeking LEED certification by the U.S. Green Building Council for utilizing sustainable materials and conservational construction techniques.

The open interiors are breezy pristinely white minimalist-inspired canvases adorned with exotic hardwood floors and windows that extend from floor to ceiling. Millennium hardwood floors are available in five tones. The kitchens feature stainless-steel appliances from refrigerators to countertop stoves to ovens to dishwashers. Matching countertops and backsplash are by CaesarStone. At the buyer's discretion, the cabinetry is either natural or classical-white hardwood. Bathrooms show off slate-tile flooring, limestone-slab countertops, hardwood cabinets, matching sinks, tubs, and fixtures by Kohler.

LEEDing the Way

The South Group is the developer of project Evo. The LEED-driven company is razing the notion that downtown L.A. is not an appropriate upscale area with complementing high-rise residential projects at various stages of completion. The Eleven is completed and fully occupied, while the Evo and the Luma are next on the agenda. The Jardin, a twin-tower project, is slated for completion sometime in 2009.

Prices for the 311 available residences range from just under $500,000 to more than $1.5 million.
